FANDOM

  • Hello. I noticed that you had a lot of pages on here locked, so that only admins could edit them. That is not allowed under Fandom's Terms of Use. Wikis hosted by Fandom are intended to be freely editable by everybody. It is also counter-productive to lock a lot of pages, as your visitors who may have something to contribute get turned away before they can even start.

I have removed the protections; please do not replace them.

Page protection is intended to be used as a temporary measure to stop, for example, an edit war. Occasionally a partial protection, which stops anonymous users and new accounts from editing, may be needed on a page which receives persistent vandalism. But occasional vandalism can be easily removed or reverted and that is the appropriate response to it.

That said, if you do have a lot of trouble with IPs/anons making unhelpful edits, rather than mass-protecting the pages against them, consider turning off anonymous edits completely in WikiFeatures.

Let me know if you have any questions.

    • Hi!

Thanks so much for letting me know. They remained during the release of the new episodes to prevent spoilers, and were meant to be lifted after new years, which I had yet to do. Slow response on my end, I apologise.

      Anonymous edits are turned off.

      Thanks again!

      Kind regards,

    • No worries. Next time (if we get lucky and there is a next time) maybe set them to be protected just for a month or so and then you don't have to remember.
