Rory's Branford Dorm is a residence in Season 5 of Gilmore Girls, located at Yale.
About[]
Rory's second dorm is located in the Branford building at Yale. It is situated on the ground floor facing the courtyard. It is a double suite, ie. two-bedroom, with a common area.
Story[]
When Rory arrives before Paris because Asher Fleming has died, she originally claims the bigger room, but Paris moves Rory's stuff into the smaller room. Paris claims that this was because the smaller room gets less sun so Rory won't get skin cancer.
Layout[]
- The common room
The common room includes a couch, a TV and windows looking out onto a small yard. It also has a mini-fridge and a microwave close to the door to Paris's room.
- Rory's room
The smaller of the two bedrooms. The entrance to Rory's room is the farthest from the door to the apartment, on the left-hand side of the dorm facing the courtyard. It is fitted with a bed and a desk and Rory decorates the wall with a pro-choice poster. The room has big windows facing the courtyard, one of which Logan Huntzberger at one point climbs in through.
- Paris's room
The biggest bedroom, Paris's suite is situated to the right of the entrance to the apartment. There's a small hallway before the door to Paris's room.
