Maisy Fortner is a character in Season 5 of Gilmore Girls, portrayed by Kathryn Joosten.
Story[]
Maisy went to school with Luke's mother, likely in Stars Hollow, and they stayed friends into adulthood. She is married to Bertram 'Buddy' Linds. Maisy and Buddy own a restaurant, Sniffy's Tavern that Luke brings Lorelai to on their first date in 2004. Maisy figures as an aunt/surrogate parent to Luke, especially after his father's death it appears by what Luke tells Lorelai about how Maisy and Buddy were there for him when he wanted to open Luke's Diner and helped him a lot with how to do it.
