Janlon Dugray is a character mentioned in Season 1 of Gilmore Girls.
Story[]
He is a wealthy businessman and the paternal grandfather of Tristin Dugray. Janlon knows Richard Gilmore from business dealings and they also appear to be society friends, which Richard infers to Tristin when Tristin attends Rory's 16th birthday party at Gilmore Mansion and they are introduced by Rory. Janlon is sick at one point but by October 2000 he is much improved, as Tristin relays to Richard Gilmore.
