Synopsis[]

While waiting for his car to be fixed, Jess (Milo Ventimiglia) tries to keep a low profile but keeps bumping into Rory (Alexis Bledel), who finally faces off with her ex after his separate showdowns with Luke (Scott Patterson) and Lorelai (Lauren Graham). In other developments, Luke gets off on the wrong foot with his sister's (guest star Kathleeen Whilhoite) new beau (guest star Michael Deluise); and Lorelai and Jason (Chris Eigeman) pose as a couple at a charity event, per Emily's (Kelly Bishop) request.
