Danny Strong is an American screenwriter, actor and television producer.
Career[]
For his work on Game Change (2012), Strong was awarded two Emmy's for Outstanding Writing For A Miniseries[1][2]. He currently works on FOX soap Empire (2015–present), which he co-created with Lee Daniels. Best known in the early aughts for his roles as Jonathan on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Doyle McMaster on Gilmore Girls[3], Strong's shift in career focus has lend his talents to a wider audience with the hit series, Empire[4], and accolades for screenwriting, among them franchise The Hunger Games installment Mockingjay, which he co-wrote and Lee Daniels' The Butler[5].
