Hey everyone! Fandom recently announced that Interactive Maps are live on the platform. With this feature, communities can design their own interactive maps, allowing you to place pins on an image that will lead to wiki articles when clicked on.
Interactive Maps are available to all communities, accessible from the the "Explore" menu on the local navigation, or by visiting Special:AllMaps directly in the url. Map creation and editing is currently limited to those with the user right editinteractivemap, which is automatically given to administrators and Fandom Staff, and they can make anyone a "map-tester".

Global Wiki Rules and Blocking policy updates
Hey everyone!
About a year after the introduction of the global "Wiki Rules and Blocking Policy", which was created to benefit to overall health of wiki communities, this policy is getting an update based on user feedback and request for more clarity and examples. The changes to the global policy will go into effect on April 4th, 2022. This is the perfect time to come together as a community and review whether or not your wiki is in compliance with the new requirements!

During this time, logged-in users will be able to switch from Oasis to FandomDesktop as their wiki experience through an opt-in toggle, found in an on-site banner and in user preferences. You will also be able to switch back by changing your user preferences.
Please do note that not everything has been developed yet, so expect changes to still occur. However, you already get access now so editors and admins get used to the new design and, especially, the admins can prepare this community for full migration, which will come early this summer.

Hey all! As you know, 2021 will be the year of the Fandom/Gamepedia desktop skin redesign, called FandomDesktop. In order to help communities better prepare, understand, but especially get insight and be able to get involved by sharing their feedback, Fandom has been releasing blog posts with the latest updates on the design.

FandomDesktop introduction and feedback
Hey all! I'm currently gathering feedback regarding the upcoming change to the desktop skin, called FandomDesktop, to help me understand any of the concerns and issues this community may face due to this change, so they can be properly addressed during testing and before we get to rollout. The change is introduced at large in this staff blog, which I advise everyone to read if you haven't already.
Some notable points:
- Light and Dark modes - A wiki can basically have two theme options, and users can pick their preference. Admins will be able to style both in ThemeDesigner.
- Fluid width - The content area can be expanded, and the right rail can also be collapsed, for a wider article page. This too will be user preference.

Why I am Team Jess-
I am so Team Jess, because one he is so cute and awesome. Also, I do not like Logan or Dean at all. I have been a big fan of Jess since he arrived in S2 ep 5 also known as NickandNora/SidandNancy. The reason why he is called Dodger is because he skulks around in the darkness. He is a wild child probably because his mother Liz Danes [Luke`s sister] did not discipline him enough. I do not like Emily because she dislikes Jess in season 3 ep 14.

Why "Ted Koppel's Big Night Out"
It's often hard to keep up with all the references made in a Gilmore Girls episode. But, it's part of the fun. And it makes ya feel good about yourself when you recognize the reference, and get the humor connected to the reference.
But....having watched "Ted Koppel's Big Night Out", in the immortal words of John Heard, "I don't get it". The episode doesn't seem to have any direct or indirect/obscure reference to Ted Koppel, Nightline, ABC News, or anything else related to the newscaster.

- In the episode, To Whom it May Concern, she is Miss Lorelai Gilmore. How is that possible if she and Christopher got married 5 episodes earlier? Wouldn't she be Mrs. Lorelai Gilmore?

Make the Gilmore Girls Strawberry Pop Tarts
Junk food, and particularly Pop Tarts in general, are essential in the younger Gilmore household. They’re convenient, relatively cheap, and probably contain vitamins. For Lorelai in particular, Pop Tarts symbolized independence from her parents; they “tasted like freedom”. Here’s a video recipe from Fandom for homemade strawberry pop tarts if you’re feeling domestic. (Though if you’re going for authenticity here, a store-bought box will do just fine.)

On the show "Gilmore Girls" Rorys third serious boyfriend Logan Huntsburger moved back from London and just got a job in California. Netflix Will Revive Gilmore Girls
HEY GILMORE FANS!
We have FANTASTIC news--- some seriously, over the moon, incredibly fantastic news. Netflix just closed a deal with Warner Bros. for a limited series revival of Gilmore Girls. The revival will be written by the series creator, Amy Sherman-Palladino, and the executive producer will be Daniel Palladino.
Most of the major cast (Alexis Bledel, Lauren Graham, Scott Patterson, and Kelly Bishop) are expected to return- although negotiations have only just begun.
So far, all that we know is the revival will consist of four 90 minute episodes.
We are pretty much shaking in our boots. What do YOU think of this revival?
