Gilmore Girls has been revived for a 4-episode season on Netflix, with each episode (or chapter) running 90 minutes.[1][2][3][4][5] Season 8 has been temporarily titled Gilmore Girls: Seasons[6] and started shooting February 2, 2016.[6] Shooting is scheduled to conclude June 30, 2016.[7]

Format

Each 90-minute episode is named for a season, ie. 'Winter', 'Spring', 'Summer' and 'Fall', which is also the famous chorus of Gilmore Girls title song artist Carole King's song 'You've Got a Friend'.[8]
